More about Brett

“Hi, I’m Brett Wilson. I love being in conversation with God the Creator, spending time with my family, hiking, the sound of horse hooves on the trail, and anything that has to do with Nature and enjoying time outdoors. I believe the most important thing I can be doing at any given moment is to grow into becoming the best version of myself.

I am a writer, musician, music & audiobook producer, and podcast host of various shows, including Ridin’ for the Brand at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, the Akhil Autism Foundation Podcast, and the Rocky Mountain Channel Podcast, where I’m grateful to have had the privilege of interviewing some of the most fascinating people on the planet.

In the 90’s I managed Sound Revolutions, a bustling studio in Nashville, learning the ins and outs of the music and recording business.  Now, I am the Owner and Creative Director of SkyDance Mountain, where we produce world-class podcasts and audiobooks in our studios here in Colorado.  Along with all the responsibilities that come with audiobooks and podcasting — including meeting with clients, scheduling interviews, and writing and developing story ideas — ProTools and its plugins are a regular part of my workday.

There is nothing more satisfying than hitting the publish button knowing you have served your client well with the potential to make a difference in someone’s life through the content you have created.

The thing I love most about what I do is meeting new people, and finding and telling a good story.

Apparently born with a natural curiosity, I find great joy in getting to know the folks I meet and interview on a deeper level.  The story within the story if you will.  The one that makes people sit up and take notice.  The one that brings a little more hope, inspiration, imagination and especially transformation.

That is why I do what I do.
